About Me

I am a high school librarian (also known as a “Library Media Specialist”). Before that I worked as a high school and middle school English as a Second Language teacher for 7.5 years. I was originally trained as a French teacher… I got one official year of that under my belt before budget cuts got the World Language Program there.

I speak English, obviously, as well as French (of course) and Spanish. I have even dappled with a little bit of Hmong. My new graduate school adventure is in Library Science, earning my MLIS in December 2015 if all goes well.

I enjoy snowboarding, running and playing the violin. And I don’t go anywhere without my Kindle!
